Declared by the Chanthaburi–Trat Border Defence Command, martial law is now in place in eight districts across two provinces:
Chanthaburi Province (7 districts):
- Mueang Chanthaburi (เมืองจันทบุรี)
- Tha Mai (ท่าใหม่)
- Makham (มะขาม)
- Laem Sing (แหลมสิงห์)
- Kaeng Hang Maew (แก่งหางแมว)
- Na Yai Am (นายายอาม)
- Khao Khitchakut (เขาคิชฌกูฏ)
Trat Province (1 district):
- Khao Saming (เขาสมิง)
These districts were explicitly listed in Thai-language declarations issued by the regional military command on Friday and the martial law order empowers the military to enforce searches, restrictions, relocations, and other controls in the affected zones.
The commander of the Border Defence Command stated martial law was imposed immediately in these areas, citing national security concerns amid escalating border clashes with Cambodia.
These steps coincide with border closures and reported evacuations across the region, as international reaction grows in response to the conflict escalation.
